Kullamannen by UTMB

SWE Mölle , SWE | 30 Oct - Oct 31, 2026

Scandinavia's wildest coastal trail, where ancient beech forests meet the windswept cliffs of Sweden's Kullaberg peninsula.

Kullamannen by UTMB takes runners along the dramatic Kullaberg peninsula in southern Sweden. The course follows coastal cliffs, winds through ancient beech forests and crosses open heathlands with views across the Øresund strait to Denmark, all in the atmospheric setting of a late October Nordic landscape.

On the rocky tip of Sweden's Kullaberg peninsula, where the waters of the Kattegat meet the Øresund, Kullamannen by UTMB offers a trail experience unlike anything else in Scandinavia. The course hugs the dramatic coastline, following paths along sheer sea cliffs, through caves and past rock formations sculpted by millennia of wind and waves. Ancient beech forests, their leaves turning gold and copper in late October, provide a canopy of stunning autumn color.

The terrain is surprisingly varied for a coastal race: technical rocky sections along the cliff edge, soft forest trails carpeted with fallen leaves, open heathland exposed to the North Sea wind and steep ravines that drop to hidden coves. The late season timing adds atmosphere, with short daylight hours, moody skies and the crisp Nordic air creating an experience that is as much about ambiance as it is about running.

As part of the UTMB World Series, Kullamannen brings trail racing to a corner of Sweden rich in natural beauty and Viking heritage. The combination of dramatic coastal scenery, autumn colors and Swedish hospitality makes this one of the most distinctive and memorable races on the calendar.
