In the golden landscape of southern California, HOKA Pacific Trails California by UTMB offers trail running in its most quintessentially Californian form. The course navigates rolling hills studded with ancient oaks, climbs through fragrant chaparral and sage scrub, and traverses ridgelines with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean glittering in the distance.

The terrain is a mix of fire roads, single track and technical rocky descents through the region's distinctive coastal canyons. Despite the mild climate, the course is no gentle affair, sustained climbs and the relentless rolling profile ensure that runners earn every view. The warm November sun and dry conditions create ideal racing weather.

As part of the UTMB World Series, Pacific Trails California brings international competition to a landscape beloved by the southern California trail community. The laid back Californian atmosphere, combined with excellent organization and stunning natural beauty, makes this a perfect late season destination race.
