From Crans Montana across the Gemmi Pass: Swiss precision meets alpine grandeur between Valais and the Bernese Oberland.
Wildstrubel by UTMB connects the Swiss cantons of Valais and Bern on courses ranging from 10 km to 113 km. Starting and finishing in Crans Montana, the flagship Wild 110 crosses the legendary Gemmi Pass and winds through manicured mountain pastures, past views of Valais's 4,000 meter peaks, and into the striking landscapes of the Bernese Oberland.
Wildstrubel by UTMB is a journey through two of Switzerland's most treasured mountain regions. Starting from the sun drenched plateau of Crans Montana in the Valais, the race sends runners north across the Gemmi Pass and deep into the Bernese Oberland, before looping back through the high alpine terrain of the Wildstrubel massif. It is Swiss mountain running at its finest.
The courses reveal a landscape of extraordinary contrasts. Runners traverse perfectly groomed alpine pastures dotted with wooden chalets, climb to windswept passes with panoramic views of the Matterhorn and Weisshorn, and descend through the dramatic mountain scenery of Adelboden, Kandersteg, and Leukerbad. The flagship Wild 110 covers 113 km with 6,600 meters of climbing, a true test of endurance across two distinct alpine worlds.
With five race distances, from a free 10 km open to young runners to the full 113 km ultra, Wildstrubel welcomes every level of mountain runner. The combination of immaculate Swiss trails, breathtaking high altitude scenery, and the warm hospitality of the Valais and Bernese Oberland communities makes this one of the most complete trail running weekends in the Alps.
